In the fall of 2022, Encounter Night came into existence as a simple and heartfelt gathering that took place in a downtown living room. The aim of this initiative was to create a place where people could come together and seek the Lord, sharing their spiritual journey and finding communion with Jesus and one another. The first gathering was small, with only a close-knit group eager to explore their faith. However, it quickly gained momentum, and by the next month, the numbers had doubled. This initial surge marked the beginning of something far greater than anyone had anticipated.
As the gatherings grew, so did the need for space. Moving from a downtown condo to a house with a more accommodating living room, the group found themselves doubling once again in size. This pattern of growth continued, leading them to relocate to an even larger house with an even larger living room. But the momentum didn’t stop there; the burgeoning community soon outgrew single-house venues, moving into three different venues to better accommodate their expanding numbers. Each month, Encounter Night was characterized by powerful worship, stirring testimonies, and practical teachings that left attendees moved and inspired.
In the fall of 2023, Spirit School was launched to meet the growing demand for practical training in the Christian community. The program aimed to equip individuals with deeper spiritual knowledge and skills, covering subjects such as healing, deliverance, prophecy, words of knowledge, and discovering one’s identity in Christ. With renowned instructors leading the courses, Spirit School quickly became an essential part of the Encounter Night experience, offering attendees a strong foundation to build their faith and confidently live our their faith.
At the heart of every Encounter Night gathering, the Eucharist is the main event, embodying the essence and purpose of the community’s coming together. It’s not just a ritual, but a living expression of faith, unity, and remembrance. When people from all walks of life come together each month to share in the Eucharist, they’re reminded of Christ’s love and sacrifice – a moment that goes beyond the ordinary and connects them to something greater. During communion, we have seen dozens of healings and salvations take place. In short – the Eucharist is what makes these gatherings so special.
